Hi there — we're so glad you're here. We're Samantha and Brady, a husband and wife photography team based in Columbia, South Carolina, and we have been photographing weddings, love stories, and life's most beautiful moments together since 2021.
You might already know us from our original brand, Samantha & Brady Creative — our moody, cinematic, editorial work that we pour our whole hearts into. But somewhere along the way, we kept meeting couples who wanted something a little different. Same candid, fun, unposed shooting style they'd fallen in love with — just brighter. Bolder. Bursting with color. So we built The Glitter Hour for exactly them. For exactly you.
When we're not chasing light across South Carolina, you can find us at home with our German Shepherd Fidget and our cat Smudge — who both have very strong opinions about how much attention they deserve. Brady is probably gaming. Samantha is probably talking to her houseplants. We got married in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in 2019 and after a decade of being each other's favorite person, we still think it was the best day ever. Which is exactly why we take photographing yours so seriously.
Our Approach
Here's what a session with us actually looks like: a little direction, a lot of laughter, and almost no asking you to stand still and stare at each other.
We believe the best photos happen when you forget we're there — and our job is to get you to that place as fast as possible. We'll give you enough guidance to feel confident and comfortable, and then we step back and let the real moments happen. The inside jokes. The nervous giggle right before the first kiss. The way you look at each other when you think nobody's watching. That's what we're after.
Our editing style at The Glitter Hour is bright, candy-colored, and full of light — think warm skin tones, glittering details, and images so vivid and joyful they practically jump off the screen. It's the same editorial eye and candid approach you'd find in our other work, just wrapped in a whole lot more color and sparkle.
We're not here to manufacture perfect moments. We're here to find the real ones and make them look as beautiful on the outside as they feel on the inside.
